Now, J.L Vergnon owns around 7 hectares of land in the region of 100% best chardonnay wine grapes classified as Grand Cru. The Vergnon family counts on the enologist Christophe Costante to determine the style of Cuvée Blanc de Blancs with low dosages, hand-made degorgement and strong attention to grape ripeness. Annual production from J.L. Vergnon averages about 50,000 bottles, keeping it at one of the best wine houses in the Champagne region.

The Champagne O.G. 2011 by Jean Louis Vergnon is a Blanc de Blancs made from 100% Chardonnay from a single parcel, named Chemin de Flavigny (lieu-dit), that was planted in 1965. This vintage champagne is unique with fermentation in barrique and 48 months on its yeasts and brut nature.

This single plot vintage cuvée, Chemin de Flavigny, will surprise you with its aromatic and gourmet expression that rounds it up, making it the best champagne for a celebration!

Champagne Color: Lemon yellow with a small bead of foam on the surface.

Nose: Pastry flavours and orange zest. Then more complex with wheat, white fruit, toast and coffee.

Mouth: Fresh and round, vinosity and volume in the mouth. Finale with flavours of biscuits and almonds. It is distinguished from other champagne wines by its greedy and round side.
