The champagne brand J.L. Vergnon was founded by Jean-Louis Vergnon in 1950 in Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger. A Grand Cru village in the renowned Côte des Blancs, Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger is located in the homeland of the oldest and best Chardonnay in the whole of France.

Now, J.L Vergnon owns around 7 hectares of land in the region of 100% best chardonnay wine grapes classified as Grand Cru. The Vergnon family counts on the enologist Christophe Costante to determine the style of Cuvée Blanc de Blancs with low dosages, hand-made degorgement and strong attention to grape ripeness. Annual production from J.L. Vergnon averages about 50,000 bottles, keeping it at one of the best wine houses in the Champagne region.
